Multi Fuel Power Station - Ferrybridge

Forde have begun work on the £400m new multi fuel facility at Ferrybridge power station. The scheme comprises of three towers, each are 28 storeys high (84 metres) and Forde we given the extremely challenging task of screeding landing areas and lobbies. Although the areas involved are not huge, screeding in such a complicated way and the overall height of the towers presented some excellent challanges. Lobby areas are to be HD pumped screed and landing areas a Tremco Illbruck CS375 bagged screed. All areas required sanding and the application of a surface primer first. Forde have completed Towers 1 & 2 with Tower 3 expected to be complete by the end of November.
