Smithies Lane, Barnsley

Forde are pleased to say we are back on site at the Smithies Lane construction site after the previous main contractor went into administration.

G Hurst & Son's Ltd from Swinton picked up the remaining contract with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council to complete the project. G Hurst's have begun site works and hopefully our installations will resume in the summer.

Forde will be installing our Alpha Forde 'C' underfloor heating system, Flowing screeds and Air Source Heat Pumps on the remaining 2 phases, a little over 400m2 in all.
